Learning a new language and culture is not easy. The Tools for Language Learning course is designed to provide training to ensure you have confidence in approaching language learning using techniques that suit your learning situation and style. If you would like to find out when the next course is happening please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

This course is designed to ensure you have the skills needed to learn a language with good pronunciation and understanding of the basics of social pragmatics and language usage. It is a must if you intend working in a cross-cultural situation where you will need to learn another language formally or informally. You will learn how to plan, manage and participate in self-directed language learning. Check it out at Eastwest College of Intercultural Studies

This course assumes no prior knowledge of linguistics. It is intended for all those wishing to be involved in cross-cultural communication and language learning. For those who would like an introduction to the nature of languages and their structure, there is an optional 5 credit course, Linguistic Analysis for Language Learning.
