Wycliffe Bible Translators New Zealand's logo uses a globe motif with the letters WBT contained in the globe. This represents our global focus for Bible translation.

Our Maori name is Te Kupu Whai Ora a te Atua. This literally means The Life-giving Word of God.

Our goal was to find words that would express the dynamic nature of God’s written Word, and would also be readily understood by Maori speakers of all ages. We sought counsel from kaumatua and Bible translators, and made a choice among several alternatives. Heoi anō kia tau te rangimarie ki a tātou katoa.
