There are still over 2000 people groups worldwide who don't have one word of the Bible in their language and no one is doing anything about it ... yet!

There is another group of 1600 languages that don't have any scripture but their projects have been started and progress towards a translation is being made.

"I was so thrilled to get your letter announcing that workers have been assigned to provide the Scripture....I have been praying for this day for 14 years....I have never doubted that this day would come."

Thank God for such persevering intercessors as this one among the 30,000 prayer partners / prayer teams in the Bibleless People Prayer Project! Since the beginning of the BPPP in 1982, many have had this thrill of knowing that Bible translation is now in progress in their adopted language.

But the majority are still praying by faith for that day. Pray for God's encouragement for these who have committed to pray for a specific people until they have the Word. Pray that each one will experience continuing steadfastness in prayer and confidence in God's purposes and timing.
