The Kairos course, a member of the Perspectives family, is predominantly run by churches to give their members a Biblical, historical, cultural and strategic view of God’s heart for this world. Through the course participants almost always discover God revealing to them, in various practical ways, something of His calling on their lives. The course normally runs one evening per week for nine weeks, or over three weekends using Friday evening and Saturday. There are relevant readings to back up the teaching and DVD clips; devotions and prayer; a little homework and personal reflection; along with participation in a couple of cross cultural activities. The Kairos course provides everyone with positive stimulation to serve God’s purposes on planet earth. The Greek word ‘kairos’ means “right or opportune moment” – an appropriate definition for a course that is impacting many people around the world as God calls His church worldwide to fulfil His glorious purposes. It has been pleasing to see the ever increasing interest in this course which is promoted strongly in NZ by World Outreach, and also taught by Wayne & Caryl Freeman (Wycliffe). Please feel free to contact us if you’d like more information, or to run Kairos in your church.
